I think there is plenty of doubt about that unfortunately...

However, I can see another KD as being very likely, so a 10-6 round. That would likely be very hard to come back from on the judges' scorecards. Still, I think I have to conclude this stoppage was unfair to Porter and came across as ego-driven by the father.

 

He was saying something about Kenny's little brother and his need to control or being called sore loser....didn't make any sense some bull****. He may get **** for saying all this.

I think that was much pretty the script anyway? BUT,Shawn should have take a break for a moment,just to pace himself and sit on his punch a little more and BANG! finish Crawford like he started.

 

Crawford the elite P4P emperor master boxer of the sweet science....got mauled and did absolutely nothing of note up until round 7. And then had Bob Arum's slave Kenny Porter stop the fight while having the slave judges in reserve if Kenny didn't comply with orders.

That's what we just saw.

 

Right but we do know Porter’s corner thought he couldn’t continue and we know he was down on the cards before the knock downs.

 

i was cheering for porter also.. i just also don't hate crawford you do this everytime a guy you dislike wins a fight you act like a spoiled baby online.

Great effort by Porter but in the end he wasn't quite good enough. Bizarre stoppage by pops for sure but i would agree he was a bit shakier than many believe after that second KD and would have struggled.

The truth is, for whatever reason, he lost momentum and energy in round 9. Was he tired? Had the body blows taken their toll? Was he looking to cruise? Perhaps the first two overlap unless you agree with pops training account.

I thought Porter may have been a little ahead even after losing the 9th but not as far ahead as some of the cards in here had him. Even if you had him ahead that was being whittled down dramatically after 2 x KDs and counting and it's a sizable assumption to think he'd last the rest of the round without being dropped again or stopped. He went down pretty easily that second time.

Top fight and really enjoyed it.

 

You are entitled to your opinion but Porter went down too easy after that first knockdown. He was weakened to the point of being ready to go and Crawford has no mercy.

 

yea the stoppage was bad crawford was gonna finish it anyway though.. shawn will either retire or keep fighting with his dad unfortunatly.
