Canelo is 100x better fighter than Porter in every possible way maybe except footwork. Wrong attempt.

Lol I wouldn’t say Canelo judges, definitely if he had the money behind him every single one of those fights are close and debatable none of the fights were unanimous, Porter is literally like 3 close rounds away from being an all time great instead he’s a fringe HOFer. Regardless I got Shawn by upset

What a stupid day Top Rank picked to have that; got totally lost in the shuffle and buried part of the promotion of their own event.

I really rate Bud, but I just have a hunch that Porter is gonna shock the world in this fight.

I know that on paper Porter maybe seems made-to-order for a switch-hitting counter-puncher like Crawford, but I think Porter is somehow gonna manage to take Bud into deep waters.

Either way, it's great to see Crawford finally stepping up (being allowed to step up?) @147, can't wait for this!

There was another thread on it a few pages back, but it got buried in all the Fury/Wilder hoopla and noise.

Great presser, nice to see the obvious respect between them both, but you can tell both are gonna leave it all in the ring.

    Best fight left in 2021!

Shocked so many people are siding with Crawford. Bud isn't as physically strong as Spence, so he'll have more of a hard time than Spence had with Porter.

And who has Crawford even fought at 147, or any division for that matter? He's beat an old 147 Brook. That's nothing to shout about given he's dead at the weight.

Porter's had the wars that Crawford hasn't had yet. That will be costly for Crawford.

Crawford and Spence are nothing special. Porter will expose Crawford for the hypejob he is.

:bump since Olu has no idea how to make poll threads (or perform redundancy checks) :sisi1

edit: wait, no, the ding-dong actually posted in this very thread and voted in the poll before.

Is this do or die for Porter? Great fighter but you don’t want to be that guy that comes up just short in high profile matches.

I think if Porter had a better trainer on the rise in his career you may be talking about him being ''elite''.

I just think his style (he's rough and tough) is a bit predictable albeit tough to negate his pressure style. He just lacks some refinement which would make him a better boxer which would leave him more openings to exert his strength on opponents.

I think Crawford will try to work him out after the first couple of rounds and taste what Porter brings which is relentless pressure and strength. Once Crawford works out that Porter isn't just coming to box and is heavily reliant on what he knows best then i think Crawford will capitalize with jabs and body shots. I think he'll go to the body with Porter more than he usually does.

Porter will have his moments and may even stun Crawford but i don't think he has the ring intelligence to beat him unless Crawford has a big off night.

Porter's votes are much lesser than I expected. He has chance imo.

No way Porter takes a nap or fails to answer any count. Porter has that grit that you can’t teach. You either adapt and grind or you accept szhit and just go through the motions.
Porter will be standing at the end and if I’m wrong I’ll be SHOCKED & IMPRESSED
