WBO Lightweight champ Terrence Crawford will be defending his recently acquired championship belt against the Cuban sensation Yuriorkis Gamboa.

One fighter is one his way up and the other one seems stuck.

It's in Nebraska and Crawford takes more risks and gamboa has suspect chin. I think Crawford decision.

I want to pick Gamboa, but who knows with the inactivity how he'll look that night.

Gamboa is coming off his second one year layoff. He will surely be rusty.

Gamboa has become too inactive for me to pick him. He really needs to tune up for me to really give a honest pick.

I want to root for Gamboa, but then I remembered he's a PEDs cheat. Sweet "T" all the way.

"On Tuesday, the Miami New Times dropped two bombshell stories involving major league baseball players’ connection to a Miami anti-aging clinic owned by Miami entrepreneur Anthony Bosch. Implicated in the case is boxer Yuriorkis Gamboa, a Cuban power-puncher who just so happens to be a 2004 Olympic gold medalist and the interim WBA super featherweight champion. The fighter is signed with SMS Promotions, owned and operated by entrepreneur 50 Cent, himself once implicated in a ring of anti-aging clinics allegedly illegally prescribing synthetic testosterone and human growth hormone."
