I think you will find after Canelo and AJ, Spence alongside Tank and now Fury generate most PPV revenues. It stands to reason that Spence is the one that can generate massive money for Canelo with Lil G not being a factor anymore.
Question which potential Canelo opponent can generate more PPV revenues than a Spence fight for Canelo?
Canelo is the cash cow. He could select a beltholder from 175 and generate a massive buyrate -- he just did an 800k buyrate for fighting Caleb Plant -- so why would he need Spence to do that? Until Spence actually moves up and beats world class fighters at 154 and 160 to put his name in the conversation, talk of him fighting Canelo is all moot.
Less than 1 Million! Don’t you think with Spence they both do over 1 Million PPV since they are well known unlike Plant and the other 175 belt holders. Surely you can grasp the concept?
So why doesn't Tank move up and fight Spence and generate the PPV revenue with him? They are only technically 12lbs apart, and this hypothetical matchup is far more realistic than Spence fighting Canelo.
Unlikely because they are friends and Spence will be moving up in weight soon. Spence is a naturally bigger guy who would have moved up by now but for other circumstances.
You can't grasp the concept that Canelo vs Spence has zero chance of happening until Spence actually moves up and beats titleholders / top contenders at 154 and 160. But hey, that's on you.
Clenelo can't make 160. And Clenelo would literally kill Spence at 168. Spence would literally be laying there on the canvas. Dead. A clinical death.
Spence is not a potential Canelo opponent. Spence is too many weightclasses below. That fight ain’t happening.
I did not say it will happen tomorrow did I but there you go again projecting. He will probably go straight to 160 pounds as 154 pounds really has no attractive options for him. He and his friend, stable mate. And Bro Jermell Charlotte are not going to fight.
Just because a guy sleeping rough speaks about his desire to marry a Miss World, doesn't mean it'll ever happen.
I never said anything about it happening tomorrow, if indeed it ever happens at all (which it won't). That's just you trying to deflect from the fact that Spence is too many weight classes down to ever be in line for a Canelo fight. And the whole "no attractive match ups at 154" doesn't hold any water if Spence is as big a draw as you're saying he is.
