How these two can both be classed as world champions in the same weight division shows how ridiculous boxing can be at times. I cant think of two other champions in the same division where the difference in class is so great.

If these two were to fight again, it would be one of the most one sided unification fights of all time.

Ricky's in the top 3 worst champions P4P.

Complete disgrace to the legends of the sport that he can call himself a 3 weight world champ.

Burns is not a world champion I don't care which version of the WBA or whatever belt he holds - what a joke. The whole idea of him having a similar status as Crawford is hideous

I agree to some extent, In all reality the result against Crawford doesn't look so bad now. He is a three weight world champion and has beaten some fantastic fighters- Martinez,Mitchell etc but I think most of the hate is to do with Billy.

    Use your brain mate.

I can agree that he is clearly one of the weakest world champions out there, he probably knows he is well past his sell by date himself.

But I also acknowledge he is a three weight World Champion, but regardless of that, anyone who steps in a boxing ring from the Schoolboys to a World Champion with Journeymen inbetween deserve respect.

It takes courage to box, something that most people don't have, and that's why you rarely hear me call anyone a ''bum'' on here.

Because these so called ''bum'' would murder all of us on this forum and we know it.

OK, but no ones disrespecting Ricky on this post, more highlighting how ridiculous boxing can be at times.

Rickys one of the nicest guys in sport, and i'm a fan, but on paper him being on the same level as Bud is ridiculous.

Oh dear, I appear to have struck a nerve early and by accident. Anyone would think you've given this subject no consideration at all...

Still I think I can understand why you're upset, I'd imagine being an online tough guy/troll is soul sapping work.

Not that they care but I don't recognise 'interim' or 'regular' champions as champions.

Is Ricky not full WBA champion? I think he is mate.

I don't think BJS deserves to be on that list. He'd be in with a shout of beating anyone outside of GGG at 160. That's more than I could say about Bellew, who'd be incredibly fortunate to be considered a top 5 fighter at 200lbs IMO.

I assume you've included Wilder for his level of opposition rather than ability which is still a huge question mark.

I included both Liam Smith and Wilder due to who they have fought to become World Champions, I forgot about Bellew good shout mate.

I included Billy Joe due to the fact, he rarely boxes and his win over Andy Lee was questionable in my opinion. He needs to beat a real stand out name and then I would take him off the list.

In regards to your first point, I don't understand how the WBA works or the ins and out's of it mate.
