I take it you don't like my post about Ricky was fortunate to get the draw? Or you are Gravy , or what?
Not at all mate it was a closer fight than folk think your entitled to your opinion but you should leave comments about how Ricky should fight ect to the people who matter to him and your not one of them.
Cool. Actually I don't care who he fights, or how he fights, nowt to do with anyone on here, as long as it's a good competitive fight, he makes good cash, and wins, then ahm happy. Have good Xmas, hope Ricky jaw healing ok
He's a very good fighter, fast hands and feet. He's now taking a big step up in opponents so we'll see how he handles getting hit back hopefully very frequently
Yeah I know the circumstances as I said, Kevin Mitchell beat a MUCH hungrier Prescott whos only loss at that point was an SD to Miguel Vazquez who Prescott had down in the first round Terence Crawford beat a lethargic Prescott with 5 losses including a recent one by KO to Mike Alvarado, and it wasn't 3 days notice, it was quite a bit longer, because as I said I was researching Crawford at the time, when none of you even knew who he was You honestly cannot say Terence Crawford beat a better Prescott than Mitchell, that's just crazy talk I'm absolutely astonished by this, people are actually tipping Crawford as being an "amazing talent" because he shut out a passed it Prescott who Kevin Mitchell beat in his prime 4 years ago? Oh yeah, probably the same people who caled me crazy when I said Marcos Miadana would make Adrien Broner his ***** Crawford isn't even as good as Broner, and we all know how ****ing hyped that guy was around here (although Crawford has better legs, I'll give him that) Oh and on that subject, I remember people raving over Khabib looking "the real deal" against Ignazio Mendoza.... stopped him in 7 rounds, the same Mendoza Mitchell knocked out flat in 2 rounds and nobody said a word about it
Good amateur career if nothing spectacular, brought along slowly and under the radar, noticed he had a good KO record and had a few televised fights, but his best KO at that point IMO was KOing Andres Gorges in 5, which really said a lot about his level of opposition before Khabib pulled out of the Prescott fight, then he went in, and gave a very good performance, boxed well, but no better than Mitchell or Vazquez tbh but JESUS, after that, the HYPE that went around him was insane Terence Crawford express threads, "How talented is Terence Crawford?! Did you see how he dealt with Prescott?!" Max Kellerman called him the best lightweight in the world, seriously, based on a victory over a faded Prescott. It was seriously over the top, the kid is good, with both backfoot boxing and punching ability, but I've never seen him in a real fight yet, Prescott is his best victory to this date and Burns has already KO'd a guy who schooled Prescott What do we know about Terence Crawford? Honestly? Still not much, certainly not enough to warrant this sort of hype Don't get me wrong, he has the style to give Burns a lot of problems, but most people act like this is a foregone conclusion which I think is borderline insulting to Burns considering the resumes of both fighters Oh, and he's a horrible interviewee
To put it into perspective, his best win prior to Prescott other than Gorges was Sidney Siqueira, who was beaten by Paulus Moses, stopped by Corley in 8 and knocked out in 5 by Zamorra
