Arum said Bud reminded him of Don Curry. A very fine compliment to be likened to a former P4P Picasso of Curry's caliber, but not the one today's guys would be most pleased to hear.

Actually, though, Bud isn't Adrien Broner. I suspect that he'd be just as happy being compared to none. He's an undefeated, multi-weight beater of ass who barely loses rounds, let alone fights. He's feeling himself these days, got that gritty strut about him that the 80's guys had.

If he's carrying any chip on his shoulder re. recognition, I'd expect it to be invested in his performances. That hard streak will just get harder.

Nobody said FlIVd wasnt a monster at 130lbs in fact i hate FlIVd as much as anyone and i acknowledge this but as great as he was at that weight he was not doing the things that Loma is doing and i think a fight between the two id give the edge to Loma. Its just an opinion which we`re all entitled to. I think this could be TC throwing some shade to plant the seed of a possible future matchup.

Floyd dethroned a sitting champion at age 21 at 130.
Lomachenko won a paper title at age 27.

By the time Floyd 27 years old he had 14 title defenses and was a 2 division champion.
By the time he was 29 years old (Loma's age today), Floyd was a 4 division champion, 5 time world champion, compared to Loma who is a 2 division champion, 2 time world champion. Loma is not trending as good as Floyd by age 29.

''Daddy, why didn't you get me a nice present for Xmas this year?''

''I'm so so sorry my sweet little princess, I swear I'll make it up to you next year''

*Daddy makes promise to self not to gamble so close to Xmas next year and never to bet against Loma again*

Loma has a suspect jaw it seems. Once we got a hard hitting fighter in there, I smell trouble for that man!!

lol I keep seeing Crawford fangirls citing the fact that their boy has beat 2 Olympic gold medalists to try and add a little separation between him and Loma lol. This has got to be right up there with the dumbest arguments in history lol.

Again, Loma did that in one world championships alone (2011) and it wasn't even at his natural weight class either. And he also beat numerous world amateur gold, silver and bronze medalists and Olympic silver and bronze medalists in those championships that year too. I can't even be bothered to research how many gold, silver and bronze medalists he beat overall.

His victims from those world championships

Olympic gold medalist and world amateur silver and bronze medalist Robson Conceicao

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robson_Conceição

Olympic gold medalist and world amateur silver medalist Fazliddin Gaibnazarov

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fazliddin_Gaibnazarov

World amateur gold, 2 x silver and 1 x bronze medalist + European silver and bronze medalist Domenico Valentino

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domenico_Valentino

Olympic bronze medalist, 2 x world amateur silver medalist and 1 x bronze and former junior world champion Yasniel Toledo. Loma stood in his way from winning gold in both of those tournaments because he beat him in the semi final of the Olympics and the final of the world amateur championships.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yasniel_Toledo

Decorated US amateur and undefeated pro 21-0 (16KOs) Jose Carlos Ramirez who is contesting the vacant WBC JWW title against Amir Imam next year

http://boxrec.com/media/index.php/Jose_Carlos_Ramirez

Loma is the reason all those guys and many, many others don't have more golds, silvers and bronze medals to add to their collections from major championships.

And Felix Diaz didn't even deserve his gold, France's Alexis Vastine (RIP) got robbed against him in the semi-final.

Look at how distraught Vastine is at the end, poor guy was absolutely devastated.

And for those of you who didn't catch this, this is how humble and classy Papa Loma and son are. And he is the P4P king IMO.

Loma turned pro at at 25 and FlIVd at age 19. In his first 10 fights Loma has beaten 4 world champions and 2 of which were undefeated. While FlIVd fought 2 guys making their debut, 3 guys with 13+ losses including one who only won one fight. Yeah so theres that. Dont bring up the age nonsense because youre doing the same with Loma.

This is real simple.

Floyd > Loma

How many more years does Loma have as a pro? 3, 5, 10?

By age 29 Floyd was a 4 division, 5 time world champion.

By age 31 Floyd was a 7 time, 5 division world champion.

Loma has a lot of catching up to do if he wants to go down alongside FMJ.

Time is a ticking!
