    Let’s dissect his resume.

    Best wins:
Spence: Post car crash this guy turned his back twice against 140 pounder Danny Garcia and Ugas who lost against Mario Barrios aka the Tank washed. Spence was shot to pieces. If you disagree you can suck a dick.

Gamboa: Inactive and went up 2 weights from his natural weight class. Got knocked down countless times and almost died against a guys I can’t even remember off the top of my head.

Can’t even name others cause theyre all trash. This guy is overrated and a prime Spence would have pieced up.

if tank ever goes up to 147 and acclimated he’s stopping Bum Crawfish. Book it.

I wouldn't say he's overrated. I would say that he is a victim of circumstance. When you take context into consideration, his resume isn't that great. But, I think he would hold his own in any era, he just wouldn't be P4P.

I think Tim Tyszu gives him a run for his money.

I think @drenlou is a mentally challenged halfwit. Do we need a poll or is that accepted dogma?

    2. Floyd getting called TBE is clearly a joke. He probably doesn't make top 20 and he ducked and weaved all his risky opponents so well that he is just a question mark in history.
    3. Clenelo, who magically transformed his body into a ripped slab of muscle, lost multiple fights except on the scorecards, who has faced a selected who's who of second rate champions, but is somehow classed in p4p rankings even after Bivol made him look stupid.

Yeah, Bud is overrated until he extends himself a lot further, but Timmy is considered C class here, certainly not overrated.

Grinder, a member since 2005. Been wondering when I'd get an interaction with you. Lol.

Let's just put something on the line man.

    1. When did I ever say Floyd was TBE?
    2. Canelo lost fair and square to Bivol. So?
    3. Tyszu is overrated on this board, mainly since being linked to Jermell Charlo. Doesn't mean he can beat him. What I will say is that the fight needs to happen old man.

    4. Get your **** together and learn who you're quoting.

Of course he is overrated. These days boxers have no need to fight the best as they get paid handsomely to fight gimmies while their fans ensure they get their mythical wins on here.

He is still a good fighter. Just has a poor resume

If you disagree you can suck a .....?
    Great, no discussion necessary then.
Thanks for your opinion, i guess.

Who exactly overrated Crawford? I havent seen people pick him over the real top tier ATGs at 135-147.

IMO rn he fits in with the lower tier ATGs like Benitez, DLH and Mosley, slightly above HOF guys like Cotto, Palomino and Norris(fighters who i liked much more than Bud).

Clearly an exceptional fighter but his resume is beyond thin for the calibre of fighter he is.

Nope not even close. It’s the 2 guys that cheapened the accomplishment of being a 4 division champion. None of than Mikey Garcia and Adrien Broner. Each guy carefully moved around division and NEVER was considered the best in any division they won titles in. Both guys feasted on smaller fighters and looked average at their natural weight class (140) and were both too undisciplined to even stay at their natural weight.

Say what you want about Bud and I was very critical of him but he’s proven to be the undoubtably best in at least 2 divisions and won the Ring in a 3rd. Even Leo Santa Cruz had a #1 vs #2 fight in one of his divisions. Mikey and AB were actually both as high as #5 on P4P list in the past which is ridiculous.

Agree fully. It’s not really debatable this one.

To add to this. Spence had one fight in 2 and half years… that one fight was a year and half before Crawford against pillow fisted Middle aged Ugas (who like you said lost against Barrios) where he got clocked and turned his back on him. Ugas then proceeded to let him off. Spence was inactive and shot before fighting Crawford.

Crawford’s other “notable” win is Shawn Porter, who was for most winning on the scorecards against Crawford until his Dad just threw in the towel for no reason (totally not suspect, totally not saving the big money fight for Spence Vs Crawford ).

To add to this, Shawn Porter was a part time boxer / boxing commentator when he fought Crawford and retired straight after. Hardly prime

Crawfords resume is smokes and mirrors - anyone claiming he is P4p 5 let alone 1 is straight up dumb

That is not mutually exclusive. Its both really. He is definitely overrated when for the last 5 years he just sat on the wbo bum belt defending it against mediocre opposition and has only 1 win vs an alleged elite fighter in 15 years, and suddenly he is an ATG. Its laughable really.

You saying the same about Calzaghe? They can only beat what is in front of them. Still exeptional fighters. Now its convient for people to downplay Spence win. Maybe Crawford is just dam good? What about that?

    This.

Like @Contro says most would consider that he's best of his era, not an ATG.

If he's so poor, how badly does that reflect on the guys that did everything they could to avoid facing him?

I don't recall Calzaghe ever being called an ATG or even a P4P fighter, he is actually underrated as a fighter so thats a bad example.
