I have been critical of Crawford's weak resume in the past and even skeptical of his skills. Because I didn't think guys like Postol and Indongo were cutting it. I like to see it against decent fighters before crowning anybody. But he deserves his due now. Wonder what he has in store next for us. Especially now that he's gotten his name out there and raised his profile with his destruction of Spence. TC is a mean, nasty fighter. Just how I like them. PBC is going to have to eat this. Al Haymon I loved that you brought boxing back to network television, but your fighters are no match for TC. Your whole stable is protected. Crawford devours every one of them.
We shall have to see. PBC wins as well because Crawford will fight with them again. Got him the biggest bag of his career and if he wants more big bags he will do more fights with them. Simple economics.
What's your point? If you want to continue whining then whine about the fact that Spence couldn't be a professional and come into the ring in great shape. That's all Crawford did was go into the ring and perform his job well. You and all your similar-minded cohorts keep making these ridiculous threads downplaying the victory as if anything that happened was Bud's fault. At some point you guys will figure out a great victory is about who you beat. Period. Crawford went into the ring and destroyed the three-belt holding undefeated welterweight champion of the world. That is a great victory. Spence's physical condition is all on Spence. I agree that Spence looked weight drained and the result may or may not have different if he was able to come in to the ring in his best form but it's irrelevant. Spence didn't make excuses after the fight, why in the world are you doing it?
TBF, no one's blaming Bud as that's ridiculous. He got the win and did what he was supposed to do. No arguments there. But we grade wins by looking at all aspects of the fight. Credit to Spence for wanting to collect all the belts to become Undisputed, but that was a severe miscalculation. Ugas was really the last time he was able to make 147 safely and that was like 16 months ago. Spence was a zombie. I don't think a healthy Spence wins, but he doesn't get destroyed and mangled in the manner that he did.
I agree 100% with what you are saying and , to be fair, your threads have basically been about Spence being zombie-like or not in top condition and not knocking Crawford. That has not been the case with a lot of the threads. I don't mind the threads people have made pointing out Spence's condition but I do find the proliferation of them repetitive and unnecessary.
He never believed that, the same Tank who said he'd beat Keith Thurman but then p**** out & never brought it up again, Now he says he would knock Terence Out & I'm sure Ellerbe will Co sign it too only for him to evade once again, Bet on it.
This. I thought Spence looked slow and his punches were coming out a little wide. He did not seem as sharp as usual which, of course, had much to do with the whupping Bud was putting on him. Crawford had everything under control and put in a masterful performance. Gotta give Errol credit though, he hung in there, tried his best and took his beating like a man. Let's see how he looks at 154.
