The only thing to take from both fights is that Gambao has a big heart.

Exactly. The question we need to ask is what if the roles were reversed? Davis 38 with a torn Achilles and Gamboa prime????

In fact it would have been interesting if Gamboa hadn’t got injured. Just by fighting at his normal tempo might have exposed Davis fitness..
Really Davis workfare was as if HE was the old man. He’ll have to do better against younger bigger guys. Very disappointed to see a young supposed superstar fight like this. No discipline no brains no future...

You do realize this is boxing and just about every fighter gets dropped or buzzed in their career at one point or another. So please stop critisizing a man that gets dropped in a sport that is designed to do just that.

As far as Tank is concerned...... We all know he didn't train for the fight and his performance suffered for it. In the end, he got the stoppage.

Ejidigus is a two time olympian, a big puncher and has beaten Avanesyan by KO which is very difficult. Dude is not the best but he's a legit contender.

Yes. If he didn't rupture his Achilles tendon and wasn't fighting with that huge handicap from the second round, he would've at the very least been able to last the distance.

I like Crawford, but man he sounds insecure. Why is he comparing himself to a fighter 2-3 classes smaller?

I see what you`re saying but Bud did benifit from a much longer reach than Tank fighting this common opponent, Tank`s arms are really short for lightweight.

Because a lot of people are raving about Tank and downplayed Bud`s performance against a common opponent that was much younger when Bud beat him.

I get the impression they don't like each other (stating the obvious).

Bud`s opponent wasn`t 38 years old and looked really good too.
