Oscar had a better jab, better hook, better defense, better chin when he actually got hit, was one of the best fighters ever at parrying shots with his gloves, and handled speed and pressure from opponents quite well.

There's not really an advantage I'd give to Crawford.
Oscar beats Crawford at LW, JWW, or WW. or JMW if you're so inclined.

Oscar all the way. Would be a great fight and I think it would be tough for both guys but Oscar was better in every area and I’ve seen him against elite fighters. Crawford is a cherry picker and I don’t really know how he’d do in a 5050 fight.

It's too bad the biggest thing people remember about this fight is how Oscar ran away from a win he had in the bag. Never seen anyone do that in the championship rounds before, or since.

 

He was listening to very bad corner advice by Gil Clancy. Obviously he could have, and should have, ignored that advice.
It did tarnish what should have been a great win.

I'm going against the grain , Crawford would make Oscar fight and I think he beats him.

 

Crawford would set traps and confuse Oscar. When Crawford's figures you out timing wise, you don't know where the punches are coming from. I know that Oscar is far more accomplished by I can't think of anyone that Oscar has beaten that I would consider smarter than Bud.
