Terence Crawford vs. Canelo Álvarez 168

This new "fad" of the general public calling out fights between fighters that are 3-4 divisions away from each other needs to run it's course and end quickly............I'm quite sick of it already

 

It's the only fight out there for Bud that he'll be seen the underdog even though many think he can win. For his legacy, for his "resume" he needs to take that kind of a challenge. Because as great as his career as been, as accomplished as he has, he really hasn't ever been taken into deep waters by anyone. Canelo (or possibly Jermell if he beats Canelo or gives Canelo a tough fight) will provide that challenge.

 

It's what we get for finally having some undisputed champions.

 

It elevates the sport and takes it to a new level. It's not something to be upset about lol.

 

No way will Bud go to 168... lol Max will be 160lbs .. Canelo will have to give a little too . Crawford is now the new P4P King and 4 title holder at welterweight so that has a say too..

 

Already making excuses for canelo when crawford whoops him.

 

Two reasons it will be at 168 and not 160
1) crawford isnt fighting for just money. No belts will be on the line at 160.
2) canelo cant make 160 because hes on peds.

 

if canelo was a legit 168 like benny i understand where your coming from. Hes not. Hes just a blown up smaller fighter on peds.

Canelo is overrated and lost once, maybe twice vs GGG. His record is bs. Mayweather belted him when Canelo was on the up and may on the way down, supposedly. Mayweather is 10x the fighter Canelo is and will ever be.

 

I'm not saying Crawford has no chance, I'm just saying I would make Canelo favourite.

Canelo has campaigned at a higher weight for a long time. We haven't seen Crawford above 147. I dont know why people are adamant that Crawford can beat a fighter at a weight he's never fought at and the difference in weight is substantial,when it comes to fighting. That's why there's different divisions.

I'm not a fan or hater of either just to let you know.

 

No it doesn't. Weight classes matter...........and they matter for a reason. It's ridiculous. It's hubris
