    I thought the same, he switched to orthodox for a moment in one of the earlier rounds and looked like he could take him out then inexplicably switched back the next round. Maybe he wanted some rounds in for whatever reason..

    How? Who has Crawford beat that's anywhere near Pacquaio in skills, experience, ability, and athleticism?

    I know he beat Gamboa, but let's face it, Gamboa has been looking terrible, and Pacquaio is a much bigger guy than Gamboa.

    I think it's stupid to put this guy in with Pacquiao, but I think it's more of a case of finding guys that HBO can hype up, that Pacquaio can beat.

    Hasn't earned it? He stopped undefeated (and hyped for years) Gamboa.

    Even aside from that his resume from the last three years is good.

    Rios "earned" a shot at Pacquiao by coming off a loss?

    Algieri "earned" a shot for having beaten Ruslan Provodnikov in his first ever step up? Take away Crawford's best three wins and his resume is still better than Algieri's was before he fought Pac.

    Relatively speaking Crawford has done enough to earn it, compared with any Pac opponents lately except Bradley, Marquez and Mayweather.

    Jean just couldn't reach Crawford enough and when he did, he couldn't hurt him. The same with Matthysse not being able to reach Postol.
