Thankfully I missed most of it and managed to see the exciting part of the fight.

Yeah. Not overwhelmed by Cholo Saucedo as a prospect.

"A nice win for Alex Saucedo", according to Colonel Bob Sheridan.

Not exactly. Martinez is a guy you're supposed to stop.

Sometimes he looks good sometimes lackluster, just like most of Mexican prospects floating around the WW divisions.

He just looks very unfinished considering he is now 20-0. His sloppiness and poor ring IQ make him seem more like 2-0.

After this is the "business end" of the card, with the first half being all showcases for green unbeaten prospects, starting with the de facto main event of the undercards on Top Rank Live Stream (Gradovich vs. Santos, with El Ruso Mexicano beginning his comeback after the Selby defeat) followed by the main triple-header on HBO.

They regulate shoving to no end. It seems like every single ref will warn for shoving the second it's done on the first offense..and I can't even figure out why. It causes no harm to the opponent and the guy shoving is expending his energy on a motion that is not even a punch, it's simply a positioning tool that does as much as good and none to the opponent that I can see. Yet, Floyd can shove with his elbows all day and not a peep. They need to do away with shoving as violation so they can concentrate on more meaningful things like rabbit punching..regulating shoving pffft, total waste of time.

Yeah but he is 21 he has room for improvement. I think Mexicans should stay amateurs a little longer like the EE guys instead of learning on the job, beating bums for 3 or 4 years isn't really adequate preparation for the top guys in the divisions.
