If Crawford wants to be in the discussion of being Greater than Oleksandr Usyk, a start would be facing and beating Bivol. As of now Usyk is by far the greatest of this generation. Crawford is probably 3rd, arguably 2nd. Do you think he'd have have the balls to step up and face Bivol? And if so, who wins?
If the fight was in the USA, Bivol could dominate every round and the judges would score it for Crawford. If it was in Saudi Arabia, Bivol might win, depending upon how many American judges are working the fight. With fair scoring, Bivol would definitely beat Crawford. Crawford has never fought anyone taller and longer than himself, he's been a weight bully for years.
Bivol is not just naturally bigger, he is also considerably more skilled than Canelo. Its a very bad stylistic match-up for Crawford too. Wide Bivol points.
Whilst I was grossly wrong as to how I thought the Canelo fight would manifest (I thought Crawford would crumble under Canelo's power), I can say with brazen confidence Crawford stands no chance against Bivol. Bivol has a massive size advantage, and shares none of Canelo's current deficiencies (activity, footwork, lack of jab).
If Bivol's injury is legit, it will take a long time for him to rebuild that muscle mass and get his reflexes and timing back. I don't think he will be the same fighter again This content is protected
Crawford could win it. Those 2 Beterbiev fights likely shortened Bivol's career. Bud never fought someone like AB. Bud will likely be the "fresher" fighter again similar with Canelo.
