How would this have turned out? It's your typical bull and matador match up. Could Crawford hang with an aggressive power puncher like Valero and outbox him?
Would have been great to see...

So difficult to pick a winner here as we'll never find out what Valero's ceiling was.

Ask me once Crawford has had another ten fights...

Are you kidding? Valero's abilities were already showing visible signs of diminishing at 135. A solid natural lightweight possessing infinitely more skill and the defense/chin to not have to worry about Valero's power (which had been reduced in the climb up to LW) - and timing not to have to worry about his speed? Forget it.

    Crawford dominates.

If you're going to say something, at least get it right. He didn't murder any children.

One trait of being a successful brawler/pressure fighter is having an iron chin, another is having underrated skills usually overlooked and overshadowed because the brawler wants you to think he's one dimensional or a basic fighter that can be outboxed. But if you have both the wit and the grit, it usually spells disaster for even an elite boxer. Valero, as beastly he was and as ferocious as he fought, hadn't really had the chance to display either of those traits. I know he showed grit vs DeMarco and did show some wit as well, overwhelming his green opponent. But DeMarco was never an elite. Had Valero crushed a Zorrita Soto, Joan Guzman, or Robert Guerrero it'd give you a better view how good Valero really was. But DeMarco as his best win isn't really going to tell you much.

Valero could really box! Crawford cant handle speed and if Valero lands the shots Gamboa did it would not last long at all!

    Exactly..

I know these cumstain boxing noobs believe that Valero was just a one dimensional slugger but he was far from it..

Valero would have beaten Crawford's punk ass like ROdney king.

Valero wins every mythical match up. ffs Broner did a better job on Demarco than Valero. Valero was a good exciting fighter but incredibly overrated.

The only common opponent they had was Demarco and Broner did a far better job, Broner at 135 is different to the 140-147 Broner imo.
