Crawford didn't look too hot the last time out against a shot-to-smithereens and weight-drained Brook. And he was getting outboxed and dropped by a complete no namer in EK. Spence looked good against Danny, but we have to realize that Danny has looked mediocre at 147. He was getting tagged up against a shot Rios and Guerrero and couldn't get rid of Redkach. And he lost to Porter and Thurman. So if they fought next, who wins?
Crawford in a close tough fight. They’re both aggressive and knockout seekers. Crawford is a bit better on the outside and can box a bit better, but I wouldn’t exactly call him a boxing wizard. He gets away with tons of fundamental mistakes, but Spence is simply too stiff to do anything about it. 8-4 or 7-5 Crawford
I’d go with Spence because he has two important advantages, being bigger and has experience from fighting way tougher opponents at 147. Both are very skilled in complete different ways, I feel like people pick Crawford because he has way more flash than Spence, but I can’t pick someone who’s only been fighting bums and shot fighters
Spence would have a better chance if he moves to 154 and calls him up. 147......nobody is beating crawford
Being bigger is a disadvantage. Crawfords best weight is 147 where spence would prob be alot stronger at 154.
There's a reason this fight hasn't happened. There's a reason Spence choose Danny Garcia and is now angling towards.....Ugas. It's one of those fights that's tight for 4 rounds....and then it appears that there is an ocean between them. Not sure Spence is skilled enough to see the 12th. That's why this fight won't be happening.
Explain. Most people believe that Crawford is more skilled, faster, and punches harder. Spence has the slight size advantage.
