Terence Crawford vs Floyd Mayweather: who would win?

The Floyd that eviscerated Arturo Gatti beats Crawford at 140. Floyd beat an undefeated Hatton, Corrales, iced JM Marquez 12-0, who then went on to flatten Pacquiao. The idea that an over-the-hill Canelo and Spence somehow equate to Floyd's resume is wild. Mean Machine and Ricky Burns had their moments vs Bud, but he beats Mayweather comfortably? I don't see it.

Crawford would be a live opponent and one of the hardest fights of Floyd's career. I think Mayweather would avoid it from a business perspective because it wouldn't be the biggest shock if he lost, and it'd be a catastrophe for the 0. Prime for prime, Mayweather has the edge, too clean, too defensively good, I don't think Crawford would figure him out over 12 rounds, just like Pacquiao couldn't. Crawford is not on the same level as Pacquiao.

 

Crawford, as long as Mayweather didn't have his pet referee and judges.

I’d go with Mayweather at 135lbs, 140lbs is a toss up, and I’d go with Crawford at 147lbs and 154lbs.

I slightly lean towards Mayweather at 140 if I had to pick 51/49

 

The two best pound for pounders of the last 20 years. This would have been the biggest fight of the century prime for prime.

 

Mayweather is a confident choice for me
