Torres looks kind of like a direct genetic mash-up of Shane Mosley and Juan Manuel Lopez.

Gloria looks more like a friendly high school janitor than a fighter. (even with all the meant-to-be-tough-looking tats)

 

Round 1

Torres is patiently snapping pivots and throwing crisp jabs and crosses as Gloria wings haymakers and outfield lobs. The commentator says "Gloria seems to be at risk of lunging his way to getting KTFO" and literally a split-second later is dropped heavily on all fours, quickly bouncing upright so the ref has to step in to prevent him and Torres from engaging again before he can apply the perfunctory eight count. Torres is now lining up right hand leads and following with big left hooks up top as Gloria pulls back. Gloria attacks the body and then falls in on Torres with awls on the neckline.

Gloria is lobster-red in the face, both from Torres' shots and waning stamina, clearly spent just from surviving having taken a licking for a few minutes.

Weird to see juxtaposed over how tanned he is from the neck down, not as bronze as Torres but still not pale enough for his face to be a drunken Irishman's hue.

 

Another 10-8 for Torres, just bashing Gloria up.

They're sending Gloria out again. edit: never mind, the ref intercepts Gloria on his way to meet Torres in center ring and escorts him over to see the physician on the ring apron to have the cut examined.
