No there’s weight classes for a reason. If Jaime can take Canelos punch he can take Crawfords.

    Munguia has gotten huge.

At 168, I don't think Crawford can beat Munguia given how big and durable he is.

Munguia also applies a lot of pressure, which Crawford doesn't like.

Crawford is a Welterweight that started at Lightweight. Canelo and Munguia are Welterweights who are now massive Super Middleweights. What's not computing here with you guys? They both put Bud in the hospital. Quite frankly, there's no guarantees that he gets past Madrimov.

Crawford UD; half-step back and counter all day.

Munguia fights short and also falls in a lot with his punches. His footwork is quite bad, honestly.

I don’t get what the obsession is with putting Crawford in these fantasy matchups at 168 when he’s a 147-154 fighter.

He would not even be a big LMW, he’s just doesn’t have the size to compete at SMW.

    Munguia KO's him.

That's no slight on Crawford but he's at his limit at 147. Possibly 154 although I am yet to be convinced.

Crawford is superb but 168 is a very long way off his proven weight range.

    100% this.

If Crawford beats Madrimov that's great. Can he then go on and beat Fundora, Tszyu, Ortiz? Maybe he can. Maybe even those guys are a bridge too far.

Then we are expecting him to go up 2 further classes to compete with a guy who just gave Canelo a very good fight? Give me a spell.

People really aren't thinking straight on this one, not only would those two behemoths batter him, Janibek and even pensioners like GGG and Lara mangle him at 160 as well.

I agree, especially about Jamie’s beating him. Crawford is just too small. Mungiua would brutalize him.

Agreed add to the fact that Crawford is also in his late 30’s so giving away a lot of size and age.
