“If I can’t get the Spence-Ugas winner, I’d love to get the Jermell and Castano winner. I can have that fight and be undisputed at 154.”

Who would you pick Crawford to beat?

He’s a much better boxer than both but the size of both will play a factor. Very tough fights for him but I’d make him the slight favourite against both guys. Crawford Vs Charlo is obviously the more exciting fight and would sell better

At this point I'd take anyone and be happy to see Crawford step up and fight a live body.

I think he beats Charlo, but Castano may be too much for him.

Styles makes fights, Jermell Charlo has too much size and power for him and Crawford would lose by KO.

Against Brian Castano, he would have a better chance but I still don't see him being the victor here.

You have to realize, Terrence Crawford is already a small welterweight, he would make an even smaller 154 fighter. When he was stood next to Josh Taylor about a month ago, Taylor who fights at 140, looked huge compared to Crawford.

Furthermore, Crawford is 34 years old now. That is over the hill and his decline has already started. He needs these fights ASAP because he gonna start looking real fragile soon.

Crawford is not a small welterweight at all. There was a mere 4lbs between Crawford and Porter on fight night. Porter started at super middleweight.

Not a good comparison. Crawford fought a war-torn Porter and argument could be made that Brook and Ugas did a much better job (neither lost any rounds).

What? I compared their weight, not how easily they beat him.

And the Porter Crawford beat is the same as the one Spence beat, except Crawford stopped him.

All those WWs in this era hasn’t moved up for a reason. It’s because this era of JMWs are big and have pretty good stamina. If Lubin was champion they would have been moved up to fight him.. That said I just can’t see Bud beating Charlo or Castano..

If Mayweather could beat Canelo, I'm pretty sure a more crafty Crawford would beat Charlo and Castano

    1. Crawford is not Floyd and nowhere as disciplined defensively as Floyd was to avoid Canelo’s biggest shots..

    2. Floyd and Canelo (both are 5’8) were near the same size height wise not to mention the catchweight(Canelo did ask for this). Bud is 5’8 and Charlo is 5’11 and they will not fight at a catchweight.

Both of their size and power would make things difficult. But i don't see any way that either of them beats Crawford. He keeps getting stronger in each weight class, and his chin has no signs of being there for the taking. The best chance either of them has is going all in, but then they have to take back what Crawford dishes out when get gets serious.
This should be Crawford priority to make this fight become undisputed at 154 and wait for the winner at 147 to move up, since both Spence and Ugas will be moving up shortly and they'll have no choice but to go through the man. Even though I'm sure that if Ugas wins he takes on Crawford immediately.
