Even with the loss to Pacquiao, Thurman's still a top WW. Crawford could make a statement if he beats him. Who wins?
Right now, Thurman. He's the only prime welter that is proven in my book. TC and Spence still have not fought a live one remotely close to the class of a 40YR OLD Pacquiao.
Thurman would be the biggest puncher Crawford's ever fought — by far. Thurman has more than a puncher's chance.
I actually think this would be an excellent fight. I can see it going either way, via a decision. As stated above, Thurman is the only proven up and coming prime welterweight out there right now.
I would give Crawford the slight edge to win this, but it is pretty close to 50/50. If Thurman was getting tasty odds, I would be backing him with the value bet though.
