Nah pbf is a stylistic nightmare for Crawford. Crawford can't outbox him and he's in there with someone with better movement speed and reflexes and defense and longer reach. Good fight but pbf would beat any version of bud.
It was one of the most stacked divisions at the time...it was never weak. You certainly didn't have fighters like Ricky Burns being in the top 3.
That's because I've been in this discussion for 100k times. And you know what? people doesnt even bother to watch those 2 rounds when they are arguing. This discussion is a magnet for idiots, that's why I'm not arguing.
Based on his better resume, simple as. As far as the Phillips fight, you should know better than to judge a fighter on the basis of one fight, it that was the case you make a simple argument that Zoo beats Crawford simply based on the way he demolished Judah. Again, overall resume, not to mention, strength, quickness and accuracy of punches is why I'm leaning towards Kostya as of now.
But it was still stacked, if it had been in the state that today's division is I too would of been calling for Tszyu to move up. I do agree that the bigger money fights where at 147.
Judah at the time of the Tszyu fight was seen as some phenom, the next big thing in boxing. He was also undefeated against the same calibre of fighter that Crawford has been beating. Theres only one dumbo here and it isn't me.
Go tell me once again how you ignore me, after I destroyed you in the debate. It would be still less pathetic than claiming that a fighter got schooled because he lost the first round. Newsflash for you spastic: there are fighters that need time to feel out their opponents. Tszyu needed 2 rounds. Bu-bu-but he got schooled doe...
Him having a better resume is debatable. Crawford is far more complete than zoo he can fight at all ranges with good defense and a high ring iq. He would smother zoos power who hated to fight on the inside and take away his power hand after that he's done. Also you simply don't lose in the fashion he did to Phillips, elite fighters dominate guys on that level
Elite fighters have bad days, remember Floyd/Castillo, Floyd/Maidana. And NO, the superiority of Kostya's resume over Bud's current one is NOT debatable unless you're just trying to troll.
The difference is pbf still won 2x against jlc and was 36 and past his prime against Maidana and still won. Elite fighters find a way to win against B- level talent like Phillips. It is debatable I don't see anyone on zoos resume that would beat Crawford.
