Prime Manny couldn't even beat jmm clearly. Pbf beats any version of pac because he will always be able control range and dictate distance on pac. He has no answer for it.

If a guy like postol or gamboa can land on Crawford then so can pbf. Do you see how that works?
Against pbf all that aggression will work against him. He will just give pbf more opportunities and get countered to hell and back. After he realizes he cant just come in guns blazing without paying a heavy price his output would slow down and he will proceed to get picked apart by clean right hands. This is the type of fight Crawford has no chance of wining he can't outbox pbf and he's frustrated by his inability to land clean. Pbf will fight tall because he has the reach advantage and start to move even more. Crawford ends up getting a boxing lesson at the hands of a master.

I did pick Postol and he was outclassed and ive never said anything different, but that was my fault in underestimating Crawford as opposed to Postol being anything special.

You do know that JMM is an atg don't you and stylistically a nightmare for Pac ? The fact that Pac struggled with Marquez takes nothing away from him as a fighter..

Floyd was gifted the first Castillo fight(that's how he "found a way to win" that fight), but let's not go over that again. Zab, MAG, Mitchell, Hurtado and possibly a faded Chavez were better opposition than anything Bud has faced up to now.

    Stop talking?

I'm going by YOUR logic you imbecile.

Urkal was outlanded by 277-199 and suffered a broken jaw, his unorthodox style caused Tszyu a few problems but the fight wasn't close at all and neither was Burns/Bud.

But you cling to the Urkal fight.

So you considered him a legit threat before they fought, only to change your mind after he lost. Gotcha.

I never said that at all.

I will break it down for you so a simple soul like yourself can take it in.

    1. I thought it was a good, even fight but I thought Postol would win.

    2. After the fight I realised how good Crawford was and have said so on numerous occasions.

    3. Prior to the fight I never claimed Postol to be elite, Infact he's solid but nothing special. It was a case of me not seeing how great Crawford was due to the lack of quality opponents.

    Understanding a lickle bit easier?

Agree. If Crawford were to get hit by Tzyu like Zab did (and I am in no way conceding that occurrence) he would react in a far more composed fashion (assuming he is as bothered by it as Zab was, which I am not conceding either) and in the end would adapt to Tzyu and get him out of there (don't try and tell me Bud couldn't reproduce or even improve upon Ricky's style if that is what is called for) or box to a UD if that was the better option.

I can't tell after he retired you had numerous threads here about how overrated he was and how pac made him.

I'm kind of torn. A few years ago I would have said Tszyu without hesitation, but now I'm not sure. Crawford might be too multidimensional for Tszyu.

But Crawford eats right hands, so I still have pause in choosing him confidently.

But if forced to choose right now, I'd pick Crawford.

Tszyu had that bully mentality like Kovalev he didn't like it when somebody gave it back to him like Hatton did and made him quit. Tszyu Crawford might be close early but Bud eventually breaks him down and stops him late or makes him quit.

Crawford would TKO Kostya. Kostya is super overrated. His claim to fame is that punch on Zab. Everything else about his resume is average at best.

i would have to go with tszyu right now. his power, accuracy and timing was deadly, and the few times ive seen bud caught flush has not left me all that confident in his ability to absorb. if bud shows me he can get through a big accurate power puncher, then i make him the favorite.
there was nothing lucky about the judah ko, it was a textbook adjustment. kt throws a 1-2 that zj slips to his right side, kt comes back with the exact same combo but he drops the right, down and to zj's right side, where the previous exchange told him his head would be. just a very aware fighter.
you can see what im talking about here
