So with Crawford fighting Collazo (Haymon fighter) could this lead to a Spence fight?

    Oh dear!

Only slight positive is that maybe this is the start of the road toSpence seeing that Collazo is also a Haymon fighter.

Prime Collazo would've been interesting, especially now that Crawford has finally moved up to 147 and is fighting opponents his own size. To be fair to him, that Mexican dude Crawford fought last time out (can't remember his name) with the gammy knee that clearly hindered him from stepping in and back out of range actually looked bigger than him, caused Crawford problems and a prime Collazo is levels above him. But Collazo will be one month shy of his 38th birthday come March 2019 (380 in ring years) and is way past his best.

I don't see any other reasons for this fight to happen. So, yes.

I guess it's like Hearn suggesting to fight Dillian Whyte first in order to get to Joshua.
So, for Haymon it's Collazo to get to Spence.

    When will Crawford step up?

Champion in 3 weights and one of the worst resumes of a P4P entrant.
