Difference with Loma is he's had a third of the fights.

As for Spence I agree although I don't see people having him as a top 2 P4P fighter.

 

I had no idea Collazo was even still fighting . To be perfectly honest though, apart from Horn this is a pretty standard level opponent for Crawford.

 

I would say that there's nothing wrong with this if he were fighting 4 times a year but it's scheduled for March...

 

So he's about to have his 34th stay busy fight?

His entire legacy will be defined by staying busy

 

Why is he fighting faded old Collazo when there are so many better opponents to choose from, even among Top Rank fighters?

Because he has no shame and knows he can get away with it.

He tested the waters in terms of seeing peoples reaction, after fighting a guy who had been shot in the leg and found out he still gained the plaudits.

So hes now thinking to himself, why risk for someone capable and able bodied when I can fight these deadbeats, cruise to victory and still be lauded

Disgusting fight. And people want to rain on Lomachenkos resume. This is yet another garbage fight for da Bud.

 

Loma has had 300 amateur fights and entered the professional ranks as a high level contender if not a number one contender. As a matter of fact he was ranked higher than Crawford and who has he fought that exempts from my statement.

 

This is a horrible fight even for a stay busy fight. If this was a last minute replacement I can give him a pass but for **** sake this is 5 months out.

Crawford gains nothing from this fight but a paycheck. This fight will generate next to zero interest.

 

Having 300+ amateur fights doesn't matter, it's what he's done from the off as a pro which matters.

Crawford had 20 fights before he even stepped up, he's ruled to of the weakest divisions in boxing at the time and now he's in a stacked 147 division he's faced the weakest champion in Horn, a guy with a gimp leg in Benavediaz and now Amir Khan leftovers in Collazo.....that's the problem......stacked division still fighting stiffs.
