Because it shows you how great pbf is because a shot pbf schooled pac 6 years ago and now pac is beating a top 3 p4p fighter that's why. Only strengthens pbfs legacy if anything.

Eminently reasonable. Personally, I rate Pac's career higher, but I believe Mayweather is the superior fighter.

would be a good move for crawford. Then there will be no way of pricing yourself out or saying 60-40. Pac crawford will be a larger gate then anything spence did.

    I respectfully disagree.

    Let's look at common opponents.

Mayweather schooled Marquez, but Marquez was jumping 2 weight classes and Floyd didn't bother trying to make the 144 catchweight. Pacquiao fought monster hulked-out versions of Marquez... plus the styles match up.

Pacquiao smoked Oscar, Hatton, and Cotto. He made Mosley run for dear life. Mosley got schooled by Floyd, but I think Pac putting Mosley into survival mode is more impressive.

Floyd struggled w/ Cotto, ran it close w/ Oscar, and Hatton was competitive.

Ortiz, Guerrero, and Maidana took rounds off Floyd (w/ many believing Maidana deserved at minimum a draw), but Pac would annihilate all 3. It would be brutal.

H2H, Pac was injured and had been brutally KO'd by Marquez. Even then, it was a highly competitive match. Don't let the lack of drama and action fool you --- it was an extremely technical fight and Floyd fought the most cautious fight of his life, clinched more than he'd ever, and was caught and buzzed twice by an old, small, semi-shot Pac. Pac from 2009-2012 (pre-KO) knocks Floyd out.

Imo, Pac is clearly the superior fighter. He's done much more with much less.

bro idk about this one man I wouldn’t write Pac-Man off, you gotta think Manny is from a different era of REAL BATTLE TESTED DOGS, Manny went through fire to become who he is just like Mayweather did, these new fighters ain’t cut from that cloth.
As far as Manny and Floyd, Floyd one of my favorite fighters all time but better and greater are 2 different things Mayweather as a fighter is better than Manny but **** man if Manny wins especially convincingly an argument can be made the dude is the goat.

    This mans career is astounding.

I'm surprised how much of a chance Pac is being given here. Bud throws a pretty good counter right hand when opponents charge in and that's a historical weakness for Pac.

That's assuming it even gets that competitive but you have to believe Pac will be ready after he's proven his doubters wrong so many times.

Nah Crawford ain't Thurman. He's much better and more complete. Pac will do good early because he's arguably the most dangerous early round fighter in boxing history but when he slows down Crawford will start switching stances giving Pac different looks and start to take over. Crawford is long and can fight tall behind a jab with good pop he has the ability to outbox Pac at range and dish out punishment as well at mid range or inside. I honestly think even a prime Pac would have fits with Crawford due to his style skills and dog.

Crawford is prime, bigger, younger and still on top of many PFP lists. If he’s not one, he’s two. If Manny beats him, it will eclipse anything Floyd has ever done. It will be one of the biggest wins ever for an older fighter. Even taking this fight, assuming it happens, is one of the ballziest moves I’ve ever seen. Manny is already an ATG. Coming back and beating Keith Thurman, who I believe was undefeated, was big, this will be even bigger because Crawford is better. Manny has balls of steel. I’ll be rooting for him if the fight takes place.

Here we go again. Another Pac fight in Abu Dhabi. I’ll believe it when both names are on a contract.
