Could be an interesting match-up no matter which division they fight at. I believe that De La Hoya beats Crawford by close UD. He's bigger, taller ,and hit harder than the latter.
Oscar wins at any of those weights. Late round stoppage possibly ko or tko somewhere after round eight. De la Hoya has a better chin, punch selection and speed. Gamboa had Crawford hurt with that throw away left hook right hand combo, De La Hoya would knock him down. There are levels and Crawford hasn’t gotten there yet simply because he is fighting bums in Omaha.
Crawford's a big unanswered question at 32 years old. Oscar's better than anyone he fought. I'll say Oscar.
Crawford constantly counters with two fists, DLH was too one handed, Crawford would land more counters.
Crawford isn’t Mosley level, the rest is pure crap. De La Hoya is bigger, stronger, hit harder has faced much better comp at the same stage of their careers AND is faster. It’s a minimum ud but imo a tko from 6 onwards.
Crawford is not faster than a prime Oscar. I think he gives Oscar all he can handle as Oscar was not as good against elite competition. If they fought 3 times both guys win at lleast one fight.
Oscar was fast but Bud is faster. Not that speed necessarily determines who wins a fight. I think Bud’s greater ring generalship might be the difference.
