Prime for prime, De La Hoya. But would be a very difficult challenge for him.

    Not sure, would be interesting.
But based on Resume (again) gotta go de la hoya especially at Welterweight.

maybe a after he fights a Mosley or a Whitaker or a Chávez or even a “Spence” type we will know more.

ODLH, dependable chin and he could outbox him ala Trinidad.

These type of fantasy fights are next to impossible to gauge. The weaknesses we use against Oscar were revealed because he fought elite fighters in their primes. The aura Crawford currently has is at least in part due to poor opposition, to what degree remains to be seen.

Anyways... obviously I'm going to pick Oscar here, I think he's a bad matchup for Crawford. As physical, imposing, and mentally tough as Crawford is, Oscar would be too big, too skilled and too powerful, imo.

Which DLH do you think was the best version? The one that knocked out Vargas was probably close to his best. I still think Crawford would give him problems.

THE De La Hoya from the Trinidad fight was him at his best. That oscar beats Crawford.

I have to pick Oscar despite him losing most of his big marquee fights. The fact that Crawford has a career spanning 13 years at 35 years old with questions still looming about his true ability tells me everything I need to know. Oscar's career is the antithesis of Crawford's . He was a true throwback in that he fought all comers and was a consumate professional who showed and proved he belonged at the top level.

Not if he starts running like a ***** in the championship rounds though. Oscar was tough but no denying Bud is a bad mother****er too.

Terence “TBE” Crawford would’ve absolutely destroyed him.

You can’t hit what you can’t see. Oscar wouldn’t be able to land a punch on him.
