Its not controversial. Youre just an idiot. Bigging up prospects based on literally nothing. Not to mention the thread literally asks about 135 a weight Boots never fought, but ofc you overlook that to bob up and down on Boots

Trinidad only started losing at Middleweight when he faced a Light Heavyweight sized Hopkins who is a top 5 Middleweight of all time.

Trinidad lost to DLH. At WW. In his peak/prime. I happen to rate prime DLH very highly and I believe prime DLH beats Floyd and Manny (at 147). I also believe Crawford may beat all of Trinidad, DLH, Floyd, and Manny at 147. His run at WW was 100% stoppages and although some of his opponents were older that list included Spence, Porter, Brook, Khan, Kavaliauskas, and a Jeff Horn that gave Manny hell. No, that is NOT a gauntlet but Bud won so impressively...rarely losing a round after round 4...that it makes one wonder.

It also starts to make sense why Pacman and Roach passed on the fight in 2017, why Spence and Porter waited 5 years, why Thurman and Garcia never took the fights, why Jermell never took the fight. Those all werent accidents.

    That's a stretch you're overrating Crawford quite a bit

Hes #1 PFP for a reason. Shame you spent the past decade hating on a bona-fide ATG.

As they say, its always your own kind that does the worst

Hes sought those fights out and has had trouble getting them. He's never remotely ducked anyone either...

And Porter, Spence, and Gamboa are no less than about on par w Cotto.

    No delusion there whatsoever.
The guy is rated the "P4P KING" for beating Amir Khan, who else is there to mention?

His entire career is based on carefully selecting opponents. The Spence fight was a bigger joke than the Khan fight.

Spence was clearly damaged after the accident, just take a look at his interviews after the accident and compare them with how he was before it.
    It goes without explaining really.

Fat Gamboa, a car crash victim, and a semi-retired Porter aren't on the same level of Miguel Cotto. Cotto was a 4-weight champ who fought all-comers, was a decorated amateur, a top 5 all-time PR boxer, and more skilled and versatile than any of those guys. Please, don't disrespect Junito like that.

Undefeated Gamboa, undefeated Spence, and a motivated Porter. Bud stopped em all and two hadnt lost before and none had been stopped before.

Bud would stop Cotto and I liked Cotto...excellent fighter...lost his biggest fights though

So Bud asking for the fight against Spence in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022 - but Spence avoiding Bud - was actually Bud "carefully selecting his opponents"??? And Bud trying to fight Manny in 2021:

“I was real disappointed not getting that fight,” Crawford said about his feeling when the Pacquiao fight fell through. “We was two days from securing that fight. A lot of things (happened). Manny Pacquiao’s side lied to us. It’s a whole bunch of things and reasons why that fight didn’t happen. Like I always say, everything happens for a reason and the fight didn’t happen and we’re here now. Shawn Porter is the fighter that I’m fighting and that’s the fight we’re focused on more than any other fight.”

Hell Roach didnt want the fight in 2016 either...

    https://www.boxing scene.com/roach-admits-crawford-not-my-favorite-fight-pacquiao--110159

    Here is Freddie himself:

"Well, we have to be looking at that fight because he's one of the biggest new guys out there and he's a very good fighter and he has great legs. He really showed in his last fight that he can move for twelve rounds. And he does punch very well. I think he has a lot of power, because he does hurt people when he hits them. He has some sensational knockout," Roach said.

"It's a fight we're talking about, it's not my favorite fight in the world, but I know that it is something that we might have to fight next. I've watched him, he's like a young Mayweather, but he's a little more aggressive, he hits a lot harder . This guy has great legs for twelve rounds. He can move very well in the ring. He can even run when he wants to. But during those exchanges, when he stops, he does punch very hard. That's a very difficult fight."
Let's not forget that Thurman and Danny Garcia ducked Bud:

Both duBoef and Top Rank vice president Carl Moretti recounted to The Ring on Tuesday the details of an offer delivered to Angel Garcia for his son, Danny Garcia, to meet Crawford (34-0, 25 knockouts) in a welterweight title fight on that same date.

The offer, presented by Moretti during a phone call with Angel: $3 million guaranteed plus upside of the pay-per-view revenue. The plan was for Crawford-Garcia to headline Top Rank’s first PPV show on ESPN. Of course, Garcia is aligned with PBC, meaning he fights exclusively on Showtime/FOX.

“It was a totally professional discussion,” Moretti recalled. “He said he would discuss it with Danny. Never heard back. I appreciate him taking the call. I think that door is always open. Absolutely.”
    https://www.ringtv.com/548361-top-r...ord-danny-garcia-pay-per-view-fight-in-march/

Crawford had told the media that Thurman should stop crying wolf by mentioning his name in the press if he’s not serious about wanting to fight him. "Keith Thurman, you’re funny for making it seem that you wanted a real fight with the king, knowing you weren’t going to get $10 million. “Look, whenever you’re ready for a real [fight], I’ll be here to smash your a**. For the people that think I would duck him, you go fall off a cliff. You’re stupid,” said Terence Crawford on social media.

    https://www.boxingnews24.com/2020/08/terence-crawford-reacts-to-keith-thurmans-10-million-request/

And, for comparison, Keith earned $2.5m:

When all was said and done, the 40-year-old Pacquiao not only earned gold, he earned some serious dough. PacMa earned a guaranteed purse of $10 million, according to ESPN. Meanwhile, Thurman, who's continually aiming to cement himself as one of boxing's pound-for-pound best fighters in the world, will collected $2.5 million.

So...please explain where in all this your conclusion is...Crawford carefully selecting opponents.

And Bud even tried to fight BOOTS! AND Boots ducked that fight SMDH....
