Gradovich takes round 4, Velez beginning to hold his feet and that's not a good idea against a guy like Gradovich

I don't know where people get the idea that Velez is outboxing Gradovich. He's getting his head snapped back constantly.

    Round 5

Gradovich is scooping in left hands and shifting Velez onto his heels with heavy right hands. Gradovich is jabbing, narrowing his stance, performing a little quick-feet shuffle, and resetting as he goes left. Velez is swatting down with his left jab as Gradovich reaches into the cookie jar with his. Slashing punches by Velez backing up, light. Gradovich ducks in, popping his left shoulder up and tucking his chin. Body shots by Gradovich. BIG uppercut in the armpit by Gradovich. Jab between the gloves by Gradovich. Velez is busy trading hooks with Gradovich and is moved physically several inches by a slapping right on the body.

    10-9 Gradovich

    48-47 Velez

He wasn't so much outboxing Gradovich in the first three as out-scoring him. (as in, sheer quantity of touches, mostly with the jab)

Under the old amateur rules, Velez would be way out in front still.

Being the pros, Gradovich is closing the gap.

48-47 Velez. Very good fight, with Gradovich surging in the last couple of rounds. 4th was close, though, so Velez's lead could be a little wider.

I think Grado has a chance of stopping Velez.
