Steve Weisfeld has it 48-47 to Velez. (as does Max Kellerman)

Gradovich is dragging this kid to hell and back....if Velez can come out with a victory, he'll have earned it.

    Round 6

Gradovich is throwing flurries going from body to head and then back down. Gradovich is starting with inclined right hands and then shoving the jab through, mostly to set up another hard right hand. Velez is countering with left hooks and grenade rights traveling up and then down into Gradovich's head. Nothing Velez throws buys him any quarter. Gradovich just keeps pressing, and punching in bunches.

    10-9 Gradovich

    57-57

Earlier Velez was doing a good job boxing, but now you kinda get the feeling he's the spinach and Gradovich is the saute pan.

If he doesn't show a big turnaround in the seventh or eighth, he is probably beyond earning it realistically.

Velez's movement has gone, activity has lowered, Gradovich is motoring

Gradovich controlled the first part of the sixth, and Velez came back in the second part of the round. Still, Gradovich won the round on my card, and it's even halfway through.
