    Gradovich is taking jabs across the widow's peak and jumping straight in to land his own, putting rights behind it and pumping in piston combos. Velez is starting to actually load up on and sit down on shots, mostly uppercuts on the body, not slowing Gradovich down. Gradovich is circling to his left as Velez lunges with a couple of rights chucked at the head. Gradovich leads with a right charging in with his face pointed down. Gradovich is feeling out blindly, ready to set off avalanches of leather if makes contact.

    I don't know if he can even get away with reverting to boxing at this point. Gradovich is chipping away on his gas tank.

    Gradovich is heaving in rights on the body of Velez. Uppercuts on the body by Velez while backing up, spacing himself and taking his time. Gradovich just crashes into Velez, shoving him back, throwing a few rights up top and digging away on the body.

    Gradovich won the 8th, but Velez targeted the body very well, and still remains extremely competitive as the fight enters the final third.
