    **** you!
And i am an avid listener of Heavy Metal...

Hip-Hop at its core is ****ing amazing and Jazz can be other worldly.
Heavy metal is something from the heart, its with deep emotion. (for me at least.).

Hence the 80 in your username ?

I was born before the launch of the first Russian Sputnik.

And I saw the Ali-Liston rematch a week after it happened.

    Do the Maths.

You're in your late 50's good for you old man:good, and I don't give a damn how old you are, I know plenty of old people that don't s**t from shinola(maybe you might recognize that phrase old timer) that are your age or older. Age doesn't mean anything I was smarter than most of the 30 year olds in my family when I was 8.:D

Well then, it seems your arithmetic is better than your punctuation.

I'm sorry to hear that you had a lot of family members who weren't as bright as an eight-year-old.

But if you go back and re-read, there was never any claim that age equated to smartness.

The issue came up when you objected to being termed a kid.

I graduated top of my class, scored the highest in my class in math. I was also in the gifted program as a child so I was probably smarter than you are now, when I was 8.

Don't call my post the stupidest on the thread when I'm giving my opinion of Crawford's fighting style, I find him dull, is he incredibly skilled, very much so, as is Rigondeaux who I don't like watching either.

Previously employed, not living off my girlfriend's salary and currently caring for 2 incredibly sick relatives. I'm far more of a man than many others who abandon their family members when they are sick. I gave up a job to help them.

All of that may well be true.
However, a cursory perusal of your posts provides little supporting evidence of this claim.

Given that the forum is devoted to boxing and given that Crawford , by the general consensus of the forum, displayed a high level of skill and finesse in dealing with another highly rated boxer, the remark was explicitly, somewhat dim.

The overwhelming majority of pugilistic aficionados find him very entertaining.

I enjoy Jazz, Hip Hop, and Metal.

I also like Crawford, and think he's infinitely more exiting than a lot of other pure boxers. The fact that he's a lot better than a lot of pure boxers probably helps in that regard.

I have a tendency to be somewhat of a populist, I'm a contrarian when it comes to many things, I hate snobs and many posters on this forum turn their nose up at fighters who lack finesse and skill, who go all out and go to war, leaving everything they have in the ring, is it the most intelligent way to fight... no, but it connects with regular people in a way that many fighters like Rigo and Lara never will.
Its not that I don't understand their fighting style, I just don't find it particularly entertaining. I've always gravitated towards working class fighters who love to fight, its some bizarre Marxist tendency I have.

Also whatever the snobby aficionados do I tend to do the exact opposite, because I don't like how smarmy and pompous they are. Which also informs the way I post on this forum, I don't like the people who talk down to some posters who may not be as intelligent as they are, or well-versed in the sport, of course they are not, a lot of them just started watching, you should try your best to not alienate them from the get go.
