Crawford would beat him. I still think Porter made a big mistake leaving his natural weight class of 154 to fight at 147, since he always looks drained at 147. Porter would’ve been way more effective at 154 or 160.
I think Crawford is a good fighter because he has skills to go along with a mean streak. But I agree, he has been getting overrated. At the same time, Porter gets underrated alot because he has a grand total of 2 losses. But even then, he has a better resume than the other 3. Pretty weak when you factor in those 3 will all be at least 30 by the end of this year. Seems like people think these guys are really young and have alot of time to make these big fights. They don’t and when 2020 rolls around, Porter is the only one to have fought least 2 of the four fighters in this equation. I think Porter gives Crawford a tough fight just like he will Spence. Not sure why many are so quick to write him off when he has been the one to show the biggest stones so far.
Everybody knows what Porter is going to do in the ring. He has just one style of fighting. All you have to do is countering him when he is jumping to you and avoid being hit. That's it.
I don't see Porter hitting Crawford with anything meaningful after the first few wrongs. Bud's boxing IQ is too good after he sees someone for a few rounds. Most likely scenario is that Porter loses handily by decision.
I would suggest rewatching some Crawford fights. Porter would be a huge underdog...and for good reason.
