Crawford stops him, skillwise throw back fighters hold nothing to fighters of today. Theyre definately tougher though

Yes as he was basically unbeatable at Welterweight. Crawford won’t be a competitive fight for SRR like SRL.

Crawford would be lucky to see the final bell, Robinson KO.

No one who fought in 1940 could POSSIBLY defeat a 2022 boxer. Let's be honest here; Robinson would be
101 years old now, and certainly that would give Crawford a big advantage. Still, a competitive fight anyway.

If SRR was around today, with his crazy resume, Terry would still be saying this

“I actually know I’m No. 1. There are no ifs, ands or buts about it. I've been No. 1 for years in my eyes. When you ask any diehard boxing fan, they'll say Terence Crawford is No. 1,” Crawford told Showtime Boxing podcast hosts Eric Raskin and Kieran Mulvaney.

“SRR has some good wins but he lost to Randolf Turpin. Inoue has looked good in his fights. Canelo looked good in his fights, except this last one. We all look good in our fights. But for them not to give me my just due, it puts a little fire on the flame for this next fight. I need to prove and show the world that I'm really No. 1 when I say I'm No. 1.

“I wouldn't say it's a big ego. I would say it's confidence. Everything that I have done thus far has shown that. Stopping everybody in the welterweight division. Never having a close fight. Dominating every opponent that I ever faced. I think that's showing that I'm No. 1. I'm moving up weight divisions and conquering them one after another. I feel like that goes hand in hand with being No. 1 pound-for-pound fighter in the world. Not just fighting in one or two weight classes and getting a win. It's dominating from one division to another division to another division.”

When making these hypothetical match ups between old school fighters Vs modern day fighters, do we match Terrance Crawford against a Sugar Ray Robinson that trains with modern day techniques, sports science and knowledge? Or are we matching up Crawford against a 1940s Sugar Ray Robinson. Either way SRR wins.

Crawford finishes him in under 3 rounds. Boxing has evolved and Crawford is the proof of it.

    WTF.

Crawford is one of my favorite active fighters but he has a ways to go before you can ask this. Let’s see what his record is when he retires. As it is now SRR wins.
