One is a prospect. The other is topping P4P lists.

    Let Ortiz develop for now.

Sure he is A big young & strong kid.
Sound fundamentals but its still Too soon to tell. (Like George C said he is a prospect)
Hard to evaluate him with his anemic resume.

Not that Crawford’s resume is filled with stellar A listers either but there is at least a body of impressive dominant champion work there.

at least let Ortiz beat somebody with a pulse 1st. Let him get his 1st Belt! Or you saying you want him to earn that 1st belt fighting Bud?

    NOMBRE!
    That’s some bad management.

True, Ortiz looks to be better than Benevidez right now though.

Last I saw of Ortiz (orozsco) he was getting outboxed. Can’t remember much of the fight but I do remember thinking that this kid is a brutal KO waiting to happen with the way he whips his head when really committing to a punch, exaggerates the motion. His defense is average in general. Too green at the moment for a Crawford, even a Spence, but an excellent fighter. He’ll get better when he settles down a bit.

I’d like to see him KO Josh Kelly. That Abdu guy would seem like an ideal candidate for experience too, good boxer, not too much power.

140lbs Prospect best bet is to move down to 135lbs & make a name for himself vs Tank Davis or Vasyl Loma
