Yeah but he's even more a one-trick pony than Wilder.

His entire defensive strategy is to circle beyond opponents' range. We've never seen him slip, block, or parry anything up close.

...and offensively, he isn't particularly sharp either. He just has fought lots of touchable guys, and ones brittle enough that he can hurt them with clubbing shots.

38-37 Karpency. Gvozdyk is in a nice groove, though Karpency is still landing from time to time.

    Round 4

Gvozdyk is reaching in with the jab while standing upright, poised to dart away if need be, on his toes, knees slightly bent. Glove tape loose, time out. Fixed. Karpency is unable to get close, trying a few potato-sack-hurling lefts at both the head and, bowing in with a two-legged sprawl, the body - nothing doing. Gvozdyk working the jab well and brushing the forehead with some crosses.

    10-9 Gvozdyk

    38-37 Gvozdyk

Karpency vs Stevenson was two southpaws, which is why AS blew him out quickly

    Round 5

Karpency is cut. Gvozdyk is varying the impact of his punches, throwing long shoeshines in straight lines at Karpency's face, most of them light needles but thrusting hard when he feels a couple of them connect solidly through Karp's guard. Karpency is swinging hard with the right hook but Gvozdyk is sidestepping and peppering him with quick straights.

    10-9 Gvozdyk

    48-46 Gvozdyk
