He's dull as f*** the real Crawford is the version that bored the hell out of everyone in the Klimov, Prescott and Beltran matches. I don't care how skilled he is, he's cancer to the ratings, they were booing Crawford for running not Postol tonight. HBO better take note, there's a reason why Whittaker was never a big star, neither will Crrawford.

    Couldn't disagree more.

I understand Crawford's predicament. He was not about to take any chances of losing this fight with the Manny fight dangling in front of him, but I would much rather watch lesser skilled fighters give it their all than a fighter just showing up and doing his very best not to lose a fight.

Any fan with a pulse got chills watching Figueroa/Arakawa. This one not so much.

Exactly, I'm having Mayweather nightmares all over again. As the size and skill level of Crawford's opponents increase we may see alot more boredom from Crawford.

Has everyone already forgotten about the Gamboa, Dulorme, and Lundy fights?

Crawford dominated and had him wobbly every other round.

    Please don't start with this Mayweather/Running ****.

Crawford is very loosey goosey and elusive and it'll be very hard for anyone at 140 to beat him if he employs those tactics. It'll be very hard for anyone at that weight to beat him even if he doesn't fight like that but it'll definitely be even harder if he does.

The Dulorme fight was like watching paint dry until the last round. I remember it far more clearly than you Golden Boy

No, but they also remember the Klimov fight and the Prescott fight. They also know that this was on PPV with Top Rank pushing him as a PPV star...fans didn't pay extra to watch him fight Dulorme or Lundy...they did for this

Most of us were expecting that Crawford to show up. That might explain some of the criticism.

This fight was never aimed at the public-at-large. It was a small PPV marketed to the hardcores. The number one and number two at 140 going at it live on HBO. Are you telling me that Crawford should have been fighting differently in this fight, to attract people to watch a fight they didn't know about, which was already being broadcast?

I like brawls, but something about that fight just didn't do it for me. I just remember that one specifically because everyone kept chanting "FOTY" and I just kept thinking "meh"... probably because I don't like Figueroa.
