True but he was made to fight more by previous opponents as well. Postol was a statue following Crawford around the ring. Slow as molasses and allowed Crawford to pretty much do whatever he wanted.

I thought Valdez put in the most fireworks of all the fights.

Valdez came out looking like a million bucks and the star of the show
Santana looked good despite the loss (Benevidez looked skilled but not a star)
Gvodzyk looked flawed but talented with the potential of exciting
Crawford looked incredibly talented but lacking star power

    Murata looked good
Yang looked like ****, Zappa looked like he has improved remarkably

valdez showed tonight how a fighter handles an overmatched opponent. that should have been crawfords statement tonight, not oscars.

Firgueroa-Arakawa was actually disturbing. That's one of only a few fights that made me uncomfortable about watching boxing. And merely skillessly bashing each other in the face like that is too simple to make for a great fight. At least one guy in a fight needs skill and the ability to think and adjust as well as the desire to put leather to flesh and hurt his opponent to make a great fight. There was way more of what boxing's all about in Crawford-Postol than Figueroa-Arakowa.

After Ward outboxes Kovalev, I expect the same response.

Crying and complaining. "He's boring and runs!"

oh, i forgot about Murata. he did a good job. like to see him against someone that can fight back though. i was impressed with Santana's stamina and that's it. Benevidez should take up the piano. he's no warrior.
