Floyd was skilled, usually didn't score the KO, got ripped on.

GGG combines skill and action, goes for the KO, still gets ripped on.

The list goes on and on. You're nobody in this sport till people care enough to rag on you.

Makes no sense, but that's boxing for you. This is the same fanbase that claims to be tired of record inflation and wants tougher matches, but then considers the loser a bum when the matches get made.

 

People make demands when a fighter is supposedly special and we expect them to show the heart of those lesser fighters.

People are disappointment with Postol, but at the end of the day he's getting 1/2 as much as Crawford, looked totally out of his depth, lacked the power or speed needed to test Crawford. By that same token Crawford had the power and speed to take out Postol but decided to never try.

When a fighter like Santana/Herrera/Arakawa/Kamegai/Soto Karass get in their, they always give their all so will always get kudos.

Maybe it's a case of not making the most of the natural ability that guys like Rigo have that frustrates.

We recently saw Lomachenko face a top guy in a move up in weight, and instead of just pot shotting he went in there, finished off Martinez off and left a lasting impression of something exciting. Crawford sort of left a feeling of negativity.

According to Compubox they two, between them, threw something like 600 punches of 12 rounds. Not particularly great.

 

Why do you do this after every fight the fighter you go for loses?
