    Gamboa's fighting a perfect fight at range. Really good stuff. The question's going to be hanging in the air all night though....is it enough to win on the road against the hometown guy with better connections?

    Gamboa is darting in and scoring with fast straight punches. Crawford is trying to time him with the jab but can't get a bead on Gamboa.

    Gamboa is throwing overhand rights from outside, dropping his face down and to his left. Quick up-jabs by Gamboa, keeping Crawford turning. Gamboa wipes Crawford's jab from the air when it comes.

    I didn't like Crawford's skills better, but he's a really big lightweight with pop. I picked him by KO assuming he'll catch Gamboa later. Gamboa having early success isn't surprising to me.
