No question he is a talent. Is he good? Absolutely. But is he the best? No. Not even close. But, that isn't a shot at Crawford, though, he is a good fighter. But, he needs to beat the best to become the best. If he fights some of the best fighters at 135: Miguel Vazquez, Richard Abril, Ricky Burns, etc. some of those guys and beats them, then, yeah, he's proven that he is the best at 135. As of now, no. He doesn't have a resume yet. Him beating Breidis Prescott is a good win, that's fine, but Miguel Vazquez has already done that. Vazquez beat a better version of Prescott plus many other quality fighters on his resume as well.

Crawford is just getting started. He's got Prescott that's a good scalp, that's a good win, but that doesn't mean he's the best now. He needs to keep it up. Get some more quality wins and build up that resume.

Mikey Garcia is the future of American boxing. Guy's like Crawford and Broner aren't on the same level. Ward and Garcia are the two best American fighters outside Mayweather. I dont think they're super star material tho. Ward's already proved he isn't.
