It's really amazing that people with thousands of posts here apparently haven't seen enough boxing to know that. Like Crawford went out to win every round and got lucky with a KO, otherwise he would have lost Far from a great performance but an extremely efficient, controlled one.
It was a good performance. Only thing that annoyed me was how blatantly obvious Max Kellerman was gushing all over him. Gamboa was too small and Dulorme folded with the first good shot that landed. I want to see more of Crawford. He looks good to me but not as good as Kellerman raves lmao
He wasn't doing **** for the first few rounds. Whether he was sizing him up or not, that isn't going to cut it against real world class opposition. Matthysse, Ruslan, and a few others will give him more than he can handle.
Crawford would kill broner. Crawford COULD beat Floyd, not for sure, but this version of Floyd I think is too slow for him. Crawford is FOR REAL. The man is lightning fast, explosive, accurate, just look at how he toyed with a very fast opponent last night. Laughing at him and taunting him, Crawford is mean as fuk too, he's in there to HURT people, not just dance to a win, which he could if he wanted to. The man has true P4P #1 potential and could be an ATG with his skill set. Best fighter I've seen in years, nobody in that division can hang with him.
You've got to be kidding! Crawford would play with these guys, way to fast for them and way too good a boxer.
He is that good. He's a throw back to the 90s guys, just depends how good his chin is but he showed heart in the Gamboa fight. I don't think anyone can touch this kid and he hits with bad intentions. He's a killer in the ring.
Indeed. And if he does the same thing against real world class opposition and loses a close decision he would otherwise have won if he started quickly, it will be a valid criticism. It isn't a valid criticism of last night's tactics, because he won by stoppage in 6 rounds while barely breaking a sweat.
Matthysse may be too much for Crawford at this point in time, but still an interesting matchup. Ruslan would get taken apart, and Crawford has enough ring savvy and defensive skills to avoid anything Ruslan throws. Crawford reminds me a lot of Curry.
You gents must have missed the Showtime fights because Imir Imam is a bad man and the only true natural among the youngsters. IMO, He is the gifted one at 140.
