going by his quality of opposition and his talent, I rank crawford in the upper half of the pfp rankings behind fmj, rigo and ward.

    reasons:
    - he dominated gamboa, a pfp top 5 guy.
    - dominated beltran the #2 lw in the world, winning practically every round.
    - outclassed ricky burns in burns hometown.

that's three legit top fighters...back to back to back. nobody else is more deserving of a place in the pfp top 5.

really? ...you don't consider that gamboa was a pfp guy when he fought crawford?

    He's top 20 p4p.

If he, say, beats Mikey Garcia, then gets to 140 and decisively beats Danny Garcia for linealship we can talk about top ten

Nope. He hasn't been that type of fighter, to me, since being at 126. He's looked less than spectacular for awhile now. He was pretty undersized against TC as well. I used to be high on Gamboa but for the past few years he's really stagnated.

Gamboa was never even close to p4p maybe top 20 top 15... and that's a big maybe.

I think if he beat the two you mentioned, that'd place him in the top 5.

He's already top 15 with Boxrec.

I'd probably agree with their estimation of him so far.
