I didn't before, but after the Broner and Thurman performances, and seeing EK light up Crawford and drop him, I'm down with it. Plus Pac is 42 — you should criticize all of these young cats that are calling out an old ass lightweight.

    And Crawford ducked Porter.

You really think Lebedev would have challenged Usyk? Has Crawford even faced a top three Welter yet? No Spence, Porter, Thurman, Manny, even Danny Garcia is better than anyone Crawford has beaten at 147. I like his talent but the point was you can’t compare him to Usyk.

And Usyk beat every guy on the road in the other guys’ backyard. How many times does Crawford fight in Omaha? He looks good beating buns in his backyard. I’ll give you that. No comparison of resumes.

Bud's resume is dog**** compared to Usyk, Loma, Beterbiev or even Briedis. The only way to argue that he is P4P would have to be a completely stylistic argument and not based on what he has done.

Machine was his best win because this gave him more problems than previous opponents.
Yeah, Machine is not big name, he doesn't have Terence level S/C and fitness and therefore Terence defeated him.
Still this Machine is more worth than >97% of professional boxers with dream chips on shoulders and worse paychecks than this Machine might get. :D Money and pride cream is only on the top and boxing fans are dreamers. champ or bum etc :bananaride
Terence is good fighter, very smart, a bit slow but he benefited a lot on difference between his and his opponents S/C and fitness levels too.

Let's just compare quality of opposition in world title fights, among the current top three candidates for p4p king. For me the lower quality of Crawford's opoosition excludes him from the top spot at this time. He needs to beat Spence to earn a reconsideration.

In honesty, I wouldn't have him top five. I was thinking about it after that post, and I think the top three is pretty clear. Then I'd obviously rank Usyk higher, and like I said I'd put Spence above him. My list would look like this:

    #5. Errol Spence Jr.
    #4. Oleksandr Usyk
    #3. Vasyl Lomachenko
    #2. Naoya Inoue
    #1. Canelo Alverez

*You could have any of these three as one. I went Canelo coz his 2019 was exceptional. Inoue & Lomachenko were pretty underwhelming in their last outings.

The most gifted active fighter alongside Lomachenko. Canelo is p4p#1 however until Loma beats Lopez.

Well, if champs are not from U.S or U.K, division always is looking weak from fans perspective.
Lebedev had been defeated by Huck and Huck had been defeated by the same Glowacki, Briedis and Usyk.
Of course rather weak division, if top guys were from other countries, division had been considered as strong division.
There, with some latvian, pole, ukrainian, russians, earlier with guy from germany: doesn't looks interesting due to boxers origin.
