I'm being careful here. I'm using overall frame, too. Loma is small at 135 and his power will be less. It just so happens that their rehydration weights are in sync with one another for 135 and for 154.
Crawford not only balloons to MW but has been operating in weight classes he is just far too big for.

No sound human being would assume the Crawford from that video is an athlete that utilises explosive power, strength etc. the way a boxing does, just the day after.

You just cannot hide from this fact. Remember Loma only moved up to 130 because he couldn't get opposition at 126. You've got to adjust your position accordingly to these facts (if indeed you had Crawford above Loma).

Naw Naw, didn't you say yourself the Loma rehydrated to 138, that's closer to 140 but he could go either way. Plus he is 5'7" and he is not frail as some people would try and make him out to be and he is as tough as nails. I am not saying that he should be fighting at 140 but what I am saying is that the logic you used to try and diss Crawford is invalid because every fighter that Crawford has fought with the exception of Gamboa rehydrates to the same weights as he does. As a matter of fact Molina couldn't even make the 140. It seems that your issue is with people who don't share your opinions of Loma. As far as I am concerned, Loma and Crawford's skills are on par and I think that Crawford is too big for Loma and for that reason he would tear Loma's ass up and probably knock him out.

i don't disagree--just want to point out that for the last few years of Loma's amateur career he was at LW (the 60 kg division, which is a little over 132 lbs, so about 3 lbs less than the professional LW limit); he won his olympic gold medal in 2012 in 60 kg, in fact.

 

That is true. He did however move up because they eradicated the 126lb division. IMO he hasn't looked the same since 2008-2009. When he moved up to 132lbs, he was looking top heavy/stocky even in WSB in 2013. He is filling in slightly more, since.
He was very small in there with the naturally bigger guys (the vast majority of whom are now fighting at Light Welterweight either in pros or in ams) - take a look at the natural size differences between him and his opponents in 2012 and WSB in 2013 (only Charly Suarez was similar in size).

Crawford would beat Lomachenko as well. Funny you have guys saying the 5'2 1/2 to 5'3 Rigondeaux needs to move up and fight the 5'7 1/2 Lomachenko, but the same guys then say that the 5'7 1/2 Lomachenko is too small to move up and fight the 5'8 Crawford.
