I rate Crawford highly, but him dissing Golovkin is the proverbial pot calling the kettle black. He's an elite talent, but he's basically a 155 lb man sucking down to 140 to fight oversized opponents, and additionally he's champion maybe at the worst division in boxing right now. I do think Feliz Diaz is an underrated, sleeper of an opponent, maybe the second best in the division, so no problem with his next fight. But after this it's time to move on to bigger and better things Terence. If Thurman or the Brook-Spence winner can't be made Arum needs to tell Pac the showcase circuit is over and he has to fight Crawford.

Bud wasnt dissing anyone. Just called it like he saw it. No problem with that. Hopefully after Diaz he'll unify with Indongo or move to welterwight. Or fight Mikey Garcia at 140 at end of the year. I'm down for that.

 

Completely fair opinion. There are those who felt Ward won, we're in the minority but we exist.

This makes sense but many disagree. P4P = different weight classes. While changing weight helps, whether by choice or by force, it's not a necessity IMO. Maybe he applied this logic to elevate himself? Then you have to be consistent, more on that later. Then he makes it sound like Golovkin refused to fight Froch and Ward @ 168, this isn't entirely true. More to do with unable to come to an agreement. This is not a diss.

First, let's put this one to bed, Crawford and Loma's resume are nearly identical. You could split hairs but there's not much to separate the two. He makes a good point about Mikey's resume but interestingly, Mikey doesn't get mentioned much. Now for his consistency issue: weight changing. He's got to have Loma pretty high since his resume is similar to Mikey's and he's moved up, by Bud's standards. Maybe not #1 but high. This is not a diss, but possibly inconsistent.

 

Why am I not surprised that dumb POS said this. Lol! Checkout what Loma and GGG say about the top 3-5 PFP and then listen to Crawford and Ward. Not hard to spot the difference in class!

 

Crawford will be going to 147 very soon. Once that happens, and he starts fighting guys his size, he will start losing.

That is a big part of it. He can barely even make 140 anymore. If you don't think that is a factor then you don't know boxing at all.

 

Funny thing is that Loma and Bud have the same number of title fights, and they're both 2 division champs. It just took Bud 21 more fights to get there and a five year head start on his pro career. Loma does have the one loss.

Can't knock anyone on their opinion, but I do think he's selling Loma's resume short.
