I think Crawford is 29 and his resume isn't better than Golovkins or at least theres not much in it. Why do you say GGG doesn't dare to be great? Is it because of the Ward rumours? He has taken on all comers at 160 and could still move up after unifying all the titles at MW.
I hope Crawford does move up to 147 soon because there are so many great fights there, if 140 was as stacked I would be more than happy for him to stay there.

Yes he could have moved up to face Ward at 168 but he chose not to but was willing to do so for JCC Jr and an old Froch. Not only that Canelo offered a catchweight fight and he turned that down to. He seems to be happy facing Welterweights at the full MW limit like Brook and trash at 160 and turning down big fights with career high paydays like Canelo and Ward.

 

Crawford's career is managed by Arum. Crawford would fight Golovkin at 160 if Arum made the fight, I really believe that. Golovkin may or may not have more of a say in who he fights, I am not so sure.
