...Roger Mayweather. He's a very good fighter, but I don't see "great." He'll never be a Whitaker or a Leonard...or a Floyd. For those of you too young to remember, Roger was a hell of a good fighter (so was Floyd Sr., he was just unlucky and had bad management). He wasn't great, and Crawford has similar skills; doesn't hit as hard, takes a better punch, about the same size. I don't think he can move up much more. Even 147 would be tough. But he'll be tough on anyone at '40.
Crawford has fought 3 C level fighters in a row it's time to step up and fight Viktor Postol the number 1 guy at 140
Terrance Crawford has 2 paths to be Great & lots of options to be another champion Path 1: Go back to 135 Unify & become Undisputed Path 2: Beat Viktor Postol Unify 140 & become Undisputed Both paths to Greatness are very difficult, which is usually the case with daring to be Great, at 135 Crawford has the tools to be Great :smoke
1.I don't think TC can make 135. 2. Yes...but, what about Broner ? He is in triangle, too (TC, Postol, AB).:good
The title made me think: WTF!! But yes, I can see similar movements to Roger. Last night also reminded me a little of Tommy Hearns. He is good. How good? That reminds to be seen. I think there is a lot of room for improvement. Took too many shots the first 2 rounds that shouldn't have taken. He can't allow that against better opposition. He could get KO.
I don't think Crawford looked that amazing last night TBH, however still believe he's a special fighter. He's got a good chin, fairly fast and lots of power in both hands. I didn't see that mean streak in him last night, which is actually a good thing and surprised me. I thought Lundy was in his head and Crawford would be too aggressive but he was very composed, almost too composed though. I think he could have gotten lundy out of there earlier, but showed a ton of patience in setting him up.
Crawford looked like the real deal at 135. Need some real challenges at 140. I don't think eating hard counters from Pac man and Hank Lundy are the same.
